Batteries
The University has been
recycling old automotive batteries from University
service vehicles and shuttle buses for years. The
motor pool department collects these batteries for
recycling whenever they change out new batteries.
USC is about to begin a
new rechargeable battery recycling program. We are
in the process of setting up about a half dozen recycling
stations on campus. Anyone on campus will be able
to deposit old rechargeable batteries. Check back
in a couple of weeks for location listings.
